During a stirring State of The Union speech from President Obama, Americans were challenged to "win the future". The President defined the race for clean energy technology as our generation's “Sputnik Moment”.

I found this interesting article from the NY Times detailing how the government plans on pushing the private community to act. I, like most people, remember hearing a similar call to arms two years ago when the stimulus package was passed. After two years of tax breaks and funding geared towards the Solar industry, has any of it worked? Well the Solar Industry issued its own report and the findings will surprise you.
